About the festival
Music, nature
& community
Nature of Sound is back! For the fourth year running, we're filling the green, historic grounds of Lapinlahti with a full day of live music, DJ sets and hands-on activities. Completely free, because culture should be for everyone.
From noon to ten in the evening, the Omenapuutalo stage and its surroundings come alive in a unique setting in the heart of Helsinki. Come for an hour or stay all day: this is a festival built on the healing power of music, nature and being together.
Nature of Sound is organized by Subterra rf in collaboration with Lapinlahden Lähde and Pro Lapinlahti mielenterveysseura ry.
Live on stage
Lineup
Django Collective Helsinki
Old school jazz manouche straight from Helsinki's streets: swinging string instruments that bring the mind back to simpler, groovy times.
Myrtsi
Tender, playful pop. The kind of set you sit down in the grass for and forget to check your phone.
Kukkatalo
Kukkatalo takes over as the evening sets in. Expect energy, singalongs and dancing in front of the stage.
+ Subterra DJs all day
Our own DJs hold it down between the live acts and close out the night. Mellow in the afternoon, louder after dark.
Stay in the loop
